I love Uni (at times), and Bristol is an amazing city. However, I have an immense amount of love for my journey’s back to London. Being home for the holidays means absolutely everything to me, and after the 2 and a half hour coach ride, I’m back. For just over a month.
Time for refreshing
I won’t lie, I haven’t exactly had the easiest term at Uni. I’ve been overwhelmed and going through a lot (Video going through all of that soon). So being able to be home over the holidays is the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate, figure out what I want and how to get there, and just come back feeling fresh and new. I need that right now. A lot.
Blogmas has been stressful and I’m still a couple of days behind, but I have my final essay of term to hand in tomorrow and after that I can retain some focus. I have a plan and a schedule, it’s just a matter of getting it done because – whether it shows or not – these posts take time. I’ve tried to ensure that I haven’t dropped quality during Blogmas because that’s one of the things I hate about it and I think that I’ve done that? At least, I hope I have.
What’s the plan?
Honestly, after tomorrow my plan is to relax a little and not stress too much. I’ve been so busy this term and I can’t wait to spend some time with friends and family, and overdose on stuffing.
I can hopefully dedicate a little more time to the last of Blogmas, as well as some cool video ideas and stuff that I’ve got coming out. I’ll probably talk about it in a separate New Years post, but I’ve got a lot planned for 2019… And I can’t wait to start putting it into action.
Being home just gives me a completely new energy. I have such a close relationship with my family and friends, and the second I walk through the door I’m hit with a brand new set of inspiration. It’s a much-needed change of location and breath of fresh air, and I can’t wait to see what it means for me creatively.
I will see you tomorrow with a new Blogmas post, gotta get back to my essay now!
11 days til Christmas!
