Yep. You read that right. I made my own cheese. And it tasted good. It was all thanks to Wicked Uncle * and a cute blog opportunity that they sent me. Now here I am, with my own homemade cheese. That tastes good.
That’s understandable. Well, Wicked Uncle approached me a few weeks ago and asked if I wanted to pick out a toy on their website to review as a Christmas present. As a 21 year old, I was a bit dubious of what toys I would find, but their section for ‘Big Kidz‘ cleared that right up. I was stuck between a few things, including a sun jar, a cute portable speaker and a nail painting cushion. But then I saw it. In all it’s unknown glory.
A whole kit dedicated to making mozerella and ricotta. It includes:
The only thing that you need to buy for yourself is full fat milk.
That is a good question. Obviously, I couldn’t write this review without trying it for myself. So, enjoy this video of me trying it live on camera… It was a process, to say the least.
I absolutely love it. It was £23.95 and I’ve never seen anything like it before. I feel like it would make such a cute, unique gift for the cheese fanatic in your life. It’s great fun to make and you end up with mozerella at the end, what’s not to love?
I’m all for different and unique gifts, and so this really hit the mark for me. Honestly, Wicked Uncle had a great selection of unique, quirky gifts that would work well for family and friends, and you could still get them in time for Christmas!
Head to wickeduncle.co.uk! Also, I’ll leave the link for the cheese making kit right here.
Would you consider making your own cheese? Let me know in the comments!
Lots of love,
*DISCLAIMER* This post was not sponsored, but Wicked Uncle did provide the cheese making kit free of charge. However, this does not affect the integrity of my post. I always keep my reviews genuine and honest. If you would like to read more about my work with brands, you can do so here.
